How to Give (and Receive) Feedback and Criticism!

How often do most people seek out, and truly want, feedback (especially given its tarnished image)? Not so much. And yet if we truly want to improve or get better at anything; if we want to maximize productivity and success (both ours and our team’s), feedback is absolutely essential.

However, effectively communicating feedback isn’t always easy … especially when the message is complex, the receiver isn’t listening or it’s a potentially sensitive subject (aka: criticism).

You can’t afford to be unclear or wishy-washy and let your feedback go unheard. When you give feedback, it is your responsibility to communicate with people in a way that your messages can best be received.

In this training, you’ll learn techniques to help you get your message across effectively every time – no matter what the situation. You’ll learn how to balance your feedback – including performance past and future. By the end of this event, you’ll know how to give helpful and honest feedback (yep, even criticism) in a way that guarantees understanding and acceptance.

You’ll learn:

  • The #1 problem with feedback – and tips for how you can avoid it!
  • The difference between feedback and conversation
  • The forgotten key to effective feedback (and 5 reasons it’s so valuable!)
  • The 4 types of feedback – what they are and when you should be using each.
  • 5 balancing strategies to help you use feedback in a way to help the other person receive and use your insights to improve performance

Join us for a powerful 60 minutes and start giving feedback that is more successful in helping others create even better results.
